A reminder to all HGSA committee members, committee reports should be submitted to the HGSA email account asap (marylandhgsa@gmail.com). Also, Mike Soracoe recently attended the student organization ticket lottery and obtained tickets to 3 Maryland Men’s basketball home games (11 tickets per game). Those interested in attending should contact HGSA at the above-listed email.
Distinguished Professor Lecture

On Wed., Oct. 21st Dr. Art Eckstein will give his Distinguished Scholar Teacher in Key 106. The lecture begins at 4:00 pm and a reception in the Merrill Room will follow.

The HGSA soccer team “We’re History” ended its impressive play-off run with a not so impressive 8(?)-2 loss against the entomology department earlier this week. Still, the squad demonstrated incredible spirit and tenacity. Great work “We’re History!”

We’re History, the HGSA soccer team, followed a lackluster regular season campaign with a spirited 1-0 win in the first round of the playoffs. We’re History dominated the second half of play to ensure passage to round 2 of the Grad Student League playoffs.
