From co-veep Keith Swaney:
The HGSA officers have decided to pursue a cleaning/reorganization project on the third floor of Key Hall for this coming Monday, August 28.
We would greatly appreciate anyone who could donate some time to join in these efforts. We’re hoping to make things a little more orderly for the new graduate students who will be starting this fall, as well as maintain a clean working environment for everyone to enjoy–graduate students, prospective faculty, and undergraduates who meet with their TAs in this space.
We realize that Monday is also the CTE teaching assistant orientation for first-time TAs. However, if you’re not involved in this program, please let me know (kswaney@umd.edu) if you’d be willing to help us straighten things up a bit on the third floor. If we can get things rolling by 11am or so on the 28th, that would be great.
Students attending the CTE/departmental training sessions are invited to help after orientation.
